Mission Statement
California Coaches Coalition provides support and mentorship to youth in the United
States and Internationally. It is a not for profit organization with a specific interest in
providing positive images and leadership to youth in North, South, and Central America,
Europe and Asia.

Welcome to
The California Coaches Coalition is an organization that is dedicated to the development
and success of our young people. Through basketball, we instill a sense of teamwork;
dedication, responsibility, confidence and discipline into our youth, which can help them
overcome obstacles and lead them to become respectable citizens. Our coaches and
staff are integral members of their local communities. As such, we take a keen interest
in the problems facing our communities’ youth. We are involved in a variety of outreach
and mentorship programs and continue to be actively involved in the future of
our communities.
Although we enjoy working locally, we also have a global sense of our community and
thus, we have acquired various international contacts via our youth outreach programs,
coaches training programs and our basketball showcases. This puts us in a unique
position to coordinate successful basketball tours that create excitement for the game of
basketball.
Since 1986, we have been an intricate part of basketball in the greater Los Angeles area
at all levels. Our coaches have trained many promising athletes from the elementary
school, middle school, high school and college ranks. Our team rosters include former
collegiate players, semi-pro level players and international athletes. Some are former
NBA players and former AND1 players.
To support our efforts, we organize medium to large-scale basketball games, fund-
raisers, and we accept sponsor support from local business. You may also contribute to

On May 9, 2009 we sponsored a Celebrity Basketball Game honoring Jackie and Mack
Robinson, two of Pasadena's most famous former residents. The Robinson Families
and the Jackie Robinson Foundation were very pleased with this well organized and
historic event. One of our major sponsors is seen seated, on the right, with Mrs. Delano
Robinson, widow of Mack Robinson.
